THE BAND
ISK Project is a quartet: saxophone, piano, bass, drums.
The band performs original compositions, which fuse the
language of jazz with contemporary classical, cinematic and world music. The result is a journey through an exciting world of images painted with sound.

Ilia SK (Skibinsky) is an international composer, saxophonist.
keyboardist and producer. Born in Russia he immigrated with
his family to Israel in 1993. In 2007, he relocated to New York
following an invitation to attend the New School University on
several scholarships. In New York, SK took an active part in the
local music scene performing at some of the most prestigious
venues in town. A culmination of his musical endeavors in the
city was the recording of the debut record The Passage, which
featured some of the leading young musicians on the scene and
has been released in 2012 to a wide critical acclaim. Other credits
include: A 15 month tour with Cirque Du Soleil's production
Corteo, Broadway Musicals Chicago and Guys & Dolls, TV shows
American Idol and Dancing with Stars, as well as festivals and
venues in 7 different countries. Some of the artists whom SK
collaborated with include: Joanne Brackeen, David Sanchez,
Bobby Sanabria, Larry Graham,Arkady Shilkloper, Mike Moreno,
Rodney Green and a long list of others. In November 2013 Ilia's
original score for an animation movie was selected as the finalist
in the European Talent Competition organized by Soundtrack
Cologne. Ilia has been awarded the America Israel Cultural
Foundation (AICF) scholarship in 4 consecutive years. As of July
2013, he is based in Berlin, Germany.
